V1 2.0 Usage Note & Improvement Update

V1 2.0 Usage Note & Improvement Update - KRYDRUFI - North America

Hi everyone,

As more backers receive and begin using the V1 2.0 upgrade modules, we’ve also started receiving more detailed feedback from the community. We’d like to clarify one important usage detail regarding the dry palette and glass palette, and also share one improvement idea that came directly from your feedback.

About the Boundary Line Inside the Lid

You may notice an outlined recessed line inside the lid.

This line is designed as the storage boundary for the dry palette and glass palette.

When placing either palette inside the lid for storage, please make sure the entire palette stays within this outlined area.

If the palette extends beyond this boundary, it may interfere with the module above it and could prevent the locking clips from closing properly.

So when storing the dry palette or glass palette inside the lid, please always make sure it is positioned completely inside this boundary.

Important: Remove the Metal Strips When Using the Dry Palette

When you are actually using the dry palette, please remove the metal strips from both sides of the lid.

The metal strips are designed primarily to hold the wet palette paper in place. They are not intended to remain installed when using the dry palette.

Removing them will give you a cleaner and more comfortable working area.

A Great Suggestion From the Community

Several backers have also suggested that the dry palette and glass palette could be secured inside the storage boundary, rather than being able to move slightly inside the lid.

We think this is a very practical idea.

One possible solution we are currently considering is using small magnetic plates or magnetic fixing points to help keep the palettes securely positioned within the outlined storage area.

This could make storage more stable while still keeping the modular design simple and easy to use.

We’ll continue evaluating this idea together with other feedback we receive from the community.

Thank you again for helping us improve the V1 2.0 system. Many of the small improvements we make come directly from the way you use the product in real-world painting setups, and this feedback is extremely valuable to us.
